Holiday Marvels by Smalls Landscaping At Smalls Landscaping, we are proud to make outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes that captivate the senses. The recent , 'Holiday Marvels', is a testament to our commitment to quality and creativity and was completed for clients in various areas, including Aberdeen, Portage, and LaPorte. The began with a vision of a festive landscape that the clients could enjoy throughout the year while improving the appearance of their home and showing the spirit of the holiday season. The process began with carefully planned design that included seasonal color, texture, and elements of nature so that it would look beautiful over the holiday season and thrive throughout the year. The key features of the 'Holiday Marvels' include a custom stone pathway made from locally sourced basalt, meandering through the property from the front yard into a beautifully designed backyard oasis. On either side of the pathway, the landscape includes flowering shrubs and seasonal plants featuring vibrant colors like holly and winterberry, which provide color even in the colder months. Another challenge to consider on this was the varied topography of the property…our team modified the grading appropriately for drainage and soil health so the greenery would be lush with blooms. We also include mulch and all native plants for low maintenance and sustainability. The focal point of the is a beautifully designed fire pit area, surrounded by comfortable, natural stone seating providing the perfect gathering spot for family and friends. We also incorporated soft outdoor lighting for elegant ambiance that glows beautifully at night. The clients were thrilled upon completion of the ! ‘Holiday Marvels’ not only improved the aesthetic value of their property; it was designed with an inviting atmosphere that encourages celebration and happiness in every season.
