Summary: Smalls Landscaping - Serenity Retreat At Smalls Landscaping we are happy to share the Serenity Retreat , an incredible transformation in the heart of Valparaiso, Indiana. We feel the reflects our dedication to quality, creativity, and sustainability in serving clients in our service area in cities like Aberdeen, Boone Grove, and Hobart. The process started with a full site plan, where we recognized some of the challenges facing the , such as uneven topography and drainage. Our talented team designed a tiered garden and incorporated native plants tolerant of our local climate and three season flowers that will require minimal maintenance. A beautiful landscape was completed with various hardscaping elements, including natural stone pathways and decorative retaining walls, that were all built with local materials to enhance the beauty of the space. Next we were challenged by the addition of a custom irrigation system to reduce existing drainage issues in the yard and ensure each plant received the right amount of moisture. Our group worked together to create a seamless flow from the recreation indoors to a patio area complete with some beautiful seating for entertaining. In the end, we all stepped back to see how amazing the space had turned out. The Serenity Retreat has beautiful colorful perennials, aromatic herbs, and ornamental grasses blowing in the wind making the area feel like a garden. As the focus of the retreat , the water feature provided a soothing escape not only for the client but guests as well. At Smalls Landscaping we believe, every is an opportunity to develop a landscape oasis for the homeowner. The investing time with our designers and taking the next few weeks to develop the Serenity Retreat sets a standard of dedication to craftsmanship and compassion for the client experience as our reached completion.
