Greenshooz Landscaping is pleased to share an updated of the Gables at Stoney Point Subdivision. Set within the scenic Northridge neighborhood of Cumming, GA, this transformed over 7 acres of wooded land into a lively, residential community space that strengthens the natural beauty of its environment while providing residents a welcoming venue. It included everything from landscaped flower beds swaying with seasonal blooms, native shrubs that do well in the Georgia elements to beautiful hardscaping that naturally fits into the master plan. We used stone (which we sourced locally) for walkways and decorative retaining walls to provide long-lasting functional features in the space. The most challenging aspect of the site was the difference in topography, which we had to work around to minimize erosion and somehow allow water to drain off. Our professional team developed a tiered landscape to handle each of these issues and provide some elevation changes and boulders to create some visual interest as well. So what all the residents, and the visitors, get, is this amazing piece of land. From winding pathways that meander through beautiful landscaping that guides residents through nature, to peaceful spaces to sit and take it all in, to vibrant areas that invite neighbors to come together, the Gables at Stoney Point has quickly grown into a beloved community escape. This by Greenshooz Landscaping perfectly encapsulates our belief that by paying attention to the and maintaining a sustainable practice in landscaping, we not only made the property aesthetically pleasing but also helped kept a balance in the habitat, featuring the seamless blend of nature and design.
