Ellington Subdivision | Cumming, GA Completed by: Greenshooz Landscaping Greenshooz Landscaping had the challenge of creating a beautiful landscaped area within this beautiful community located in the Ellington Subdivision of Cumming, GA. Wade was overwhelmed by the time we spent carefully designing an outdoor area that integrates nature with art that would benefit it and not just those who live in its vicinity. It showcased a beautiful blend of native plant selections, flowering shrubs, and perennial plants, all of them hardy and low-maintenance plants. To contrast the soft colors of the lush landscape, we added hardscape elements built to last, including natural stone walking paths and decorative boulders to retain the area against the unpredictable nature of Georgia weather. The steep site presented one of our biggest challenges, which we tackled with grading strategies that provided the necessary flat spaces to be used for community gatherings. The experienced landscapers laid out a near-complete drainage plan that prevented water from gathering and eroding soil, all while maintaining the natural flow of the land. The outcome is a beautiful garden that is suitable for sitting in and community nouce.
