About This Project

Parkcenter Parkcenter A design and construction build by Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D, for the residents of Boise through to Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, Star, McCall, Payette, Sun Valley and Nampa. Over the years Morton has developed property by way of this enormous landscaping giving use to an open space while turning it into a beautiful outdoor terrace blending in with nature. Parkcenter is organized around a series of native landscaped areas, hardscapes and sitting areas. The design team chose drought-resistant plants that sustain the sustainability as well as visual interest all year round. Local stone and pavers will not only look great but will also hold up to the changing Idaho climate. The challenges faced during the were many but one of the most crucial was the uneven topography at the site. Chuck B Edwards and his team tackled this challenge with creative grading and tiered planting beds that establish a natural continuity across the landscape. The addition of a cutting-edge irrigation system also made for a smart management of water resources, minimizing maintenance costs while taking care of the lush vegetation. Parkcenter's centerpiece is an attractive community gathering space with a unique fire pit featuring comfortable seating and ambient lighting. This warm area lends itself well to socialising and has become a favourite location for community gatherings as well as a peaceful place to just hang out. The end product was a stunning landscape that was in line with but really elevated the clients vision. Parkcenter has been embraced as one of the communities enduring symbols displaying the quality and creativity for which Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D is known. This represents new landscaping standards for the area with incredibly high attention to detail and dedication to sustainability.
