LAKESIDE by Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D Located in the peaceful hills of Idaho, the 'Lakeside' reinforces the craftsmanship of Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3DWow. In the active cities of Boise, Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, Star, McCall, Payette, Sun Valley, and Nampa, they made a modest lakeside property into a beautiful estate. The concept was to juxtapose the nature elements with functional outdoor living. Highlights include a spectacular stone patio made of local basalt that enhances the setting (as well as provides a gathering location). Paths Aesthetically Lining The Property Wildflowers and Ornamental GrassOBeautiful paths lined with native wildflowers and ornamental grasses were situated along the way to direct guests through the property while providing natural beauty and accessibility. The site had various elevations that needed to be taken into account so grading needed to be somewhat innovative to make sure that corrosion wouldn't be an issue. Using state of the art 3D modelling, our team visualised the whole landscape layout to adapt every component to the natural contours of the land. A custom built fire pit with cozy seating provides a centerpiece that fuses warmth and ambient lighting for evenings outside, drawing you and your guests in. We also implemented a sustainable irrigation system, powered by rainwater harvesting, as a way of being environmentally responsible. The finished ; 'Lakeside' has blown away the client with a beautiful and functional final result. Full of greenery, water features and lounge areas, this is less a yard and more a backyard escape that highlights the importance of lakeside landscapes.
