At Jacobs Grant Design Ltd., we recently completed a beautiful landscaping d 'Charming Spaces' that transformed a typical backyard into a lovely outdoor escape for a client in Upper Arlington. This exemplifies our commitment to quality, creativity and community as we continue to proudly service the greater Columbus area including Amlin, Bexley, Dublin and more. Our team thoughtfully designed an inviting space that was a perfect harmony of beauty and practical function. The primary feature of 'Charming Spaces' is a large custom stone patio made of locally sourced flagstone that is both durable and naturally beautiful. This expansive entertaining space is a great addition to the client's backyard that showcases the beauty of the design through thoughtful patterning inspired by the surrounding landscape. To increase the charm of the space, a raised garden bed made of reclaimed wood is incorporated in the design to allow for sustainable gardening while also adding rustic charm. The choice of native plants and vibrant perennials provides beauty and color year-round while reducing maintenance and supporting the local ecosystem. Challenges arose in the due to the grade of the site and limited access for heavy machinery. However, our qualified team successfully navigated the site challenges through innovative site grading and planned mobility around the site without compromising the landscape or usable area. 'Charming Spaces' is a successful that left our client enthused the final product. The success of the has allowed our client to enjoy a private peaceful retreat to fit their lifestyle.
