The water feature makes a bold statement and is built of varied lowgrade, locally sourced, irregularly shaped "crazy stone". The unique stone construction creates an organic rustic feel while blending elegantly into the surrounding landscape. The stone forms a waterfall that tumbles into a pond, elevating the sound of the open air. The slope of the site presented several challenges, which our crew was able to manage with a custom engineered tiered design that controlled the slope while creating movement and flow visually. We utilized a combo of native plants as well, minimizing maintenance while still enhancing the local ecosystem. The a plan that took into placemnt of boulders and plants nurtured the local wildlife. The result is an exciting water feature that creates a welcoming retreat for the owners as well as an engaging location for guest gatherings. The owners reported that they were delighted with the result, and they can already see the value of increasing time spent with family and friends, sitting around this water feature.
