In the heart of Sandy Springs, this serves as a creative collaboration to develop an oasis that integrates a natural setting with modern living. In terms of design, this features a unique assembly of lush native plantings, colorful azaleas, ornamental grasses, and seasonal blooms providing year-round color and texture. In addition, a beautiful stone patio is provided of locally sourced flagstone, which serves our clients as a durable surface for gathering and relaxing with friends and family. This stone patio is complemented by a custom fire pit for chilly evenings or nighttime star-gazing. One of the greatest challenges we faced with this was the terraced nature of the backyard; this was a unique challenge that required creative grading implementation. Our team skillfully guided the to include a series of stone retaining walls built out of a natural boulder stone, utilizing the terracing to create tiered garden beds to improve drainage and stabilize the soil while adding visual appeal. In addition, we have implemented effective and sustainable practices by including an irrigation system that conserves water while adding a layer of protection for the health of the plants. River stone-lined pathways invite visitors to explore the many features that this retreat offers. Needless to say, our clients were ecstatic with the final result! The retreat is a perfect balance of aesthetic and functional use, effectively providing a booked escape from everyday life.
