John's Creek Residence At Joe A. Gayle & Associates, we are passionate creating outdoor spaces where memories will be formed. The “John's Creek Residence” showcases our dedication to quality and creativity in the arena of landscaping. The residence is located in the peaceful surroundings of North Atlanta, where we redesigned a large backyard that offered various challenges and opportunities. The homeowners wanted a peaceful escape from the everyday world, with outdoor spaces that would relate to the natural environment. We conducted a detailed analysis of the site, identified several drainage problems and vegetation they wanted to maintain. Our team developed a complicated grading plan to improve drainage and help ensure the landscape had longevity. The showpiece of the is a stunning multi-level patio completed in natural stone that captures elegance and lasts through the seasons. The large gathering space was designed to support outdoor events with a fire pit and outdoor kitchen for family and friends. Surrounding the patio are several native plantings of ornamental grasses, shrubs that bloom gorgeous colors, and evergreen trees that provide a natural yet beautiful appeal and wildlife support. To maximize the privacy of the yard oasis, we included a mixture of beautiful hedges, decorative fencing, and new trees that covered the boundaries without creating a fortress. We also added an environmentally-focused feature by introducing a rain garden to direct run-off and recharge groundwater. It's a beautiful landscape that is complete, maintains the homeowner's vision, and serves as a testament to our attention to detail. The clientele was ecstatic the landscape change and noted the attention to detail created a wonderful connection between the hardscapes and softscapes. With this new installation at John's Creek Residence, Joe A. Gayle & Associates has raised the bar for residential landscaping in Alpharetta, Atlanta, and beyond.
