Wind Ln. Landscaping by Natural Wonders Landscaping Natural Wonders Landscaping proudly presents the Wind Ln. , a beautiful renovation located in the heart of Houston vibrant community. This is a custom landscape, with the intention of making the property look as naturally beautiful as possible while creating an outdoor living space for the house. This posed a significant challenge for our team, as the demographic was very uneven, and landscape design was limited on potention c onformation. Innovative grading strategies and smart selection of high-quality materials helped us raise the site, with stepped garden beds that not only provide excellent drainage but add a level of interest to the landscape. Native plants, at least theoretically, would require less water and attract local fauna, so they seemed a sustainable choice. At the heart of the design is a custom, locally sourced flagstone path that leads visitors through vibrant plantings. This route offers functionality and encourages exploration of the lush vegetation. A quiet rock water feature with soft sounds of a waterfall provides a sensory experience and draws nearby birds to make the garden an alive experience. As part of creating a functional outdoor space we also installed a large paver patio ideal for family and entertaining. With warm-toned lighting used extensively through the space, the natural landscape remains attractive whilst also inviting throughout the evenings to enjoy. Despite the poor quality of the soil and the drainage issues that our team managed to tackle using their meticulous craftsmanship, our promise of quality stood through the minor team hurdles endured to ensure that the landscape would stand the test of time. The finished product is a stunning outdoor retreat combining form and function and our clients are thrilled to have some new space to share with family and friends.
