Landscape Lighting by Rue Group, Inc. / Kathryn Rue, Landscape Architect At Rue Group, Inc. we believe that a great landscape is not only its plants and hardscapes, but also how the beauty is interpreted through the art of light. Our most recent 'Landscape Lighting' completed in Orange County, also known to include Anaheim, Brea, and Long Beach, shows how quality, functionality, and aesthetics can come together as one. The included the installation of modern LED landscape lighting throughout a large residential property. Our team carefully selected energy-efficient, high-quality fixtures to complement the existing architecture, enhancing the beauty of the landscaping and illuminating the pathways. A combination of uplights were used to emphasize the grandeur of existing trees while wall sconces drew attention to the beautiful stone work throughout the gardens. Perhaps one of the largest obstacles we faced was the property topography, which was challenging, and required following farm lighting guidelines to ensure even lighting without compromising safety or aesthetic. Our landscape architects evaluated the space carefully to not only provide light, but to shape the outdoor atmosphere into a magical evening space. The combination of light and shadows made the landscape come alive at night. Our customer commented on their excitement how light made such a difference in their outdoor experience and opportunities for family hanging out in the evenings. With thoughtful intent, detail and experience, we successfully to beautify and enhance their outdoor space. Once again Rue Group, Inc. proved to be experts in landscape architecture and design of the communities we serve.
