Type: ‘Terrace Walls’Location: Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Fitchburg, Madison, Maple Bluff, McFarland, Monona, Oregon, Shorewood Hills, Stoughton, and Sun Prairie.Avant Gardening & Landscaping Inc. The comprised of multi-level terraced walls, constructed in a way to follow the natural topology of the site and provide functional and leisure spaces for the occupants. The stone used for the walls was a locally sourced natural stone which we meticulously analysed, and in-hand crafted walls that harmonised so well with the natural surrounding yet added an element of sophistication to the property. Quality materials are selected to guarantee durability and ease of maintenance, thus protecting the economic outlay for years to come. Another hurdle we needed to tackle was the steep slope of the land, which needed to be engineered to provide stability and safety. We specifically engineered the terracing system the management of the water runoff to allow drainage, protect the wall from soil erosion, and maintain its structure. The end result is a stunning set of terraces with colorful plantings, native grasses, and accent boulders that merges structure and nature. Integrated seating areas and ambient lighting were the final touches, converting the space to a snug hideaway for evening get-togethers.
