About This Project

Pools by Ralph Williams Landscape Design At Ralph Williams Landscape Design we are proud to present the 'Pools' , a dazzling renovation that changed outdoor living in the center of Massachusetts. We work in communities spanning from Acton to Auburn, and we began this complex landscaping with the goal of improving both beauty and function. This featured a one-of-a-kind pool for swimming that was designed and installed into a luxurious hardscape. We used natural stone pavers for the deck, and they mesh well with all the greenery and mature trees surrounding the area. The design incorporated a waterfall that not only sounded stunning, but also looked beautiful. One complication was the unevenness of the site, which involved a lot of grading and drainage to maintain stable ground conditions long term for water. The team used best practice layout techniques to contour the landscape for the proper orientation of the pool and surrounding areas, all while maintaining the natural beauty of the site. The end result was well received by our clients who had their own personal oasis that matched the surroundings. Native plants were integrated into the custom-built low-maintenance landscaping features for health and sustainability. We also designed ambient lighting to offer a pleasant experience while relaxing by the pool at night.
