Narrative: 'Pizza Oven' by Petra Masonry In St. Louis County, Petra Masonry has successfully completed the 'Pizza Oven' landscaping , which aims to enhance outdoor dining and outstanding atmosphere. Located within the active community of Sunset Hills, the presentation includes a well balanced approach to integrated functionality and decorative appeal for families and friends that enjoy outdoor dining. The design includes a custom built artisan pizza oven, specifically designed from high quality firebrick and is located within an installed patio of natural stone pavers. The chosen material provided both a durable surface and an aesthetically pleasing rustic charm to the custom built pizza oven. Additional landscaping s were added and included beautiful perennials and ornamental grasses to provide a warm, welcoming feeling and to extend the landscaping seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. A main challenge was allowing for drainage around the structure to respect the elements, while not destroying the integrity of the adjacent garden. Petra Masonry's highly skilled artisans tackled this apparent challenge by designing a sophisticated drainage system to preserve the beauty of the edibles while protecting the structure. As a result, the created an inviting outdoor kitchen area that exceeded the client’s expectations, including a fire pit and seating to promote relaxation and gathering. Functional landscaping and high quality materials through eloquent design, improved the value of the clients' property while providing a place to create delicious meals. The 'Pizza Oven' is a statement of Petra Masonry's quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Neighbors from towns including Arnold, Crestwood, and Wildwood can simply recreate from Eden, while utilizing inspiration from outdoor spaces to create a moment from everyday into something extraordinary through skillfully designed landscaping.
