This features true liveability and functionality, right in the centre of Marysville, with seamless indoor / outdoor spaces to both relax and entertain. The layout includes a generous flagstone patio that consists of natural stone sourced from local quarry which makes it a perfect fit for the landscape while ensuring the longevity of the against the weather. This is an immaculate pathway surrounding the patio that leads through native plantings, aiding a smooth transition from house to garden. The perennials and ornamental grasses we planted are perennial plant selections that do well in the Mid-Atlantic, adding seasonal greenery, blossoms, and even colorful foliage and seed heads in late summer and fall. An example of this that we gleaned is that the ground was not level. The talented crew that worked with us expertly graded the space and constructed retaining walls of reclaimed timber, creating both structural integrity and rustic appeal. Outdoor light fixtures are strategically placed to accentuate the elements of the patio after dark, making for a great nighttime ambience for evening events. The end result is a beautiful new outdoor environment that not only meets the expectations of the client, but encourages them to spend as much time as possible in it.
