The encompassed a complete reconstruction of the outdoor space, which involved a remarkable combination of hardscaping and softscaping components. We selected natural stone pavers from local resources to create a gently shaped pathway, which winds throughout the property to a well-designed patio for entertaining. The patio utilizes a resilient, weatherproof material that provides longevity with low maintenance, all while inviting design elements back into the home. A tiered garden design was implemented to overcome site challenges that included unlevel ground and little to no sunshine. This aspect allowed us to take advantage of the two-dimensional space and include unique plant species. We used native plants and shrubs entirely adaptable to the climate and conditions of the property to create year-round color and style for ecological sustainability. Ample ornamental trees were positioned along the edge of the outdoor space to provide both a degree of privacy and beauty for the client's experience. Water, as a feature of the landscape, was also an element of the . A koi pond, featuring a waterfall, was introduced to instill peacefulness and ultimately attract wildlife to the property. We took time on final placement with the entire design in mind, utilizing natural stone and native plants adaptable to swim and grow, to completely create harmony, balance, and transition from the water feature to the surrounding landscape.
