Our newest , Foundation Plantings, is an ideal representation of our dedication to high-quality work and creativity. The consisted of designing and building foundation plantings around a remarkable residential property. We began the by evaluating the architectural characteristics of the home in order to establish a landscape that was appropriately designed to complement and enhance the visual appeal of the home. Our design team established a rich palette of native shrubs and perennials, which specifically included appealing azaleas, attractive ferns, and delightfully flowering daylilies, that offered seasonal interest and was low maintenance in terms of the homeowners’ expectations. One of the challenges was the relatively steep grade of the property. The landscaping team successfully designed and built tiered or terraced beds to ensure proper drainage of the space while generating an inviting display. We utilized a high-quality, local, natural soil amendment and organic mulch to support healthy plant establishment, while also using a natural stone edge to define the design to finish. As we progressed throughout the , our team worked diligently with the homeowners to finalize the plant selection and layout of the plantings. In the end, we achieved a complimentary composition of color, texture, and form, creating an engaging framing of their home and a comfortable environment for family and guests. At the 's conclusion, the homeowners were ecstatic with the transformed landscape and the enhanced curb and aesthetic appeal that their home now had, which entirely maintained the investment value of their property.
