A homeowner had came to us wanting to turn their yard around from a few overgrown shrubs, some very rough ground, and no real cohesive design. Using our expertise to scope the challenges of the unique landscape which highlighted poor drainage and heavy presence of invasive plant species, the began. Our professional process consisted of the removal of unwanted plants, land leveling, and the placement of premium materials like natural stone walkways, ornamental boulders, and local flora that better compliment the area while providing local biodiversity. A gorgeous flagstone patio made from local stone takes center stage in the redesign and is a fantastic place to spend time outdoors. We included many colorful perennials and evergreens that bloom at different times so the area can be full of color all year long. The home's drainage problem was solved through a gentle grading which channels water away from the home toward a lovely rain garden for sustainability. It was a remarkable transformation. The previously non-existent yard matured into a peaceful oasis, which blended seamlessly into the natural landscape outside of the property. The client is now pleased with the final product in their outdoor space that we designed to complement their way of life; our quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail was joyfully received.
