'Custom Stone Staircases' showcases our quality craftsmanship and innovative design across Ames Lake, Beaux Arts Village, Bellevue and surrounding communitiesthe latest in the gallery. We designed beautiful stone steps that merged perfectly with the natural ground line of our clients land. As tempting leads into the lush beauty of the garden, strong, beautiful steps made with local natural stone offer a firm footing. Each stone was chosen not just for texture and color, but also so that it would work together while blending in with the flora. Our biggest challenge was the hillside nature of some areas of the property, which needed to be carefully engineered to build a safe, usable set of stairs. Our talented team passed over this with a tiered design that let us walk up in phases to keep the incline from being too steep of a climb. We also included some well-placed stairway lighting for safety and evening ambiance. The end result was nothing short of fabulous, an expansive series of stone stairways that greatly increased accessibility and then became beautiful featured points in the garden itself. The client was excited and satisfied with the final result saying that the staircases were well integrated and aligned with outdoor space and complimented the quality of work as well. Not only did the provide an elevated pathway to the journey, but it also improved the usability of the landscape and the property.
