Pinewood Entryway Garden Completed by S & D Landscapes LLC Situated in the heart of the lovely Pinewood neighborhood in Colchester, the Pinewood Entryway Garden by S & D Landscapes LLC showcases the quality and creativity we strive to integrate with our landscaping s. Serving Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction, and South Burlington, we transformed a previously dull entrance into a beautiful display of nature. This displayed a great mix of native plants and hardscaping materials designed for aesthetics and sustainability. Our team installed a meandering stone path made from locally sourced granite, allowing visitors on their way through a kaleidoscope of colorful perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreens. By utilizing different heights and textures, we created depth and motion within the planting, creating a welcoming and engaging environment to enjoy. One of the biggest challenges was the sloped nature of the site. We decided to install terraced beds to combat this, which would stabilize soil, facilitate drainage, and provide both visual and accessible elevations to see the new plants. Boulders we're also used from the site we were completing the at, which we integrated into the desired plan for another naturalistic element and to serve as points of interest. The end result was a gorgeous entryway that made the owners happy, demonstrated some colorful pallet with four seasons of color, and achieved the elements of nature, all welcoming residents and engaged visitors.
