Essex Residential Garden Developed by S & D Landscapes LLC, the Essex Residential Garden reflects our commitment to creating incredible outdoor spaces that can become sanctuaries for homeowners. Our work serves the communities of Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction, and South Burlington, and we continually strive to provide top-quality workmanship and innovative design. Accessing the site's beautiful slopes was the main working challenge we faced and so we utilized tiered landscaping the meet the request for usable and beautiful yard space. Our retaining walls allow the use of local stone to accentuate the landscape's beauty while providing stability and durability, while layering the native plants we selected into multiple areas adds colors and textures to the landscape for each season. The highlight of the is the custom patio made from beautiful pavers that we built specifically for our client's needs for outdoor entertaining with family. Our clients can enjoy a fire pit area constructed with natural boulders for a beautiful setting after dark. A unique and winding path is constructed from reclaimed wood that visitors can walk through the greenery this garden introduces. While the weather presented challenges as well as site drainage, every aspect of this job was well-planned and executed. Our crew is talented and ensured all were considered resulting in a coherent and inviting landscape plan. The end result is a client that it was proud to share with their family and is enjoying a comfortable sanctuary that works for both practicality and beauty.
