About This Project

Title: Annuals by Coastal Concepts | Coastal Concepts successfully finalized the 'Annuals' landscaping , giving a client an outdoor landscape that can change with the seasons, all while nestling in the charming coastal communities of New Jersey. From Asbury Park to Spring Lake, our team crafted an ornamental design for seasonally included annual bloom placements that compliments its surroundings beautifully, focusing on the design elements while letting the natural progression of the flowers shine through. We had a complete rainbow of colors with brightly blooming petunias, marigolds and impatiens that we specifically chose for their strength to contend with our coastal climate. Using compost top dressing and organic soil amendments to provide the best growth and sustainability possible. The stone borders around each planting bed are all native stone, which creates both a local character and a loose edge definition for the space. The property itself was also a challenge as it had an unbalanced ground, leading us to ingenious grading options to make sure water was flowing to proper drainage and off the site to avoid soil degradation. Using high level techniques, our adept team leveled the land pocket without burning a single tree in the place. Not only did this improve the aesthetics of the area but it helped ensure the garden's longevity. The end result was a vibrant, beautiful, living palette which impressed not only the client, but anyone who walked by. The annuals were in full bloom, welcoming guests to the gorgeous coastal neighborhood. We received a satisfaction response from the client stating that they were delighted how the landscape has transformed their home by increasing its curb appeal as well as providing a getaway space for loved ones.
