PROECT: Layfayette Hill Flagstone Patiot and Landscape Christopher A. Zeek Landscape Design & Construction showcases its latest work, the 'Layfayette Hill Flagstone Patio and Landscape,' combining functionality with natural beauty. Located in beautiful Lafayette Hill, you can really see the quality and craftsmanship in this particular job. At the heart of this picturesque setting is a large flagstone patio all precision-cut, high quality Pennsylvania bluestone sourced from local quarries. With its natural shades and distinctive surfaces, it entertains warmth and earthiness, making it the perfect space for sharing moments and chilling out. We created lush perennial gardens surrounding the patio, with as many native plants as possible to add in some biodiversity. Some of the land was very uneven, which called for creative grading to make sure water could run off properly and the finished yard could withstand the elements. With purposeful raised flower beds, and natural stone retaining walls, we created a multi-level landscape. Giving the property layers. We incorporated customized seating areas and a fire pit to complete the outdoor experience, allowing for warm evenings under the stars. The gentle glow of ambient light highlights the patio, making it an alluring space to enjoy day or night. The end result is a stunning property that is a beautiful integration into and well beyond what the client envisioned, that it looks like it belongs there in the natural surroundings but at the same time the landscape is an extension of an outdoor living space.
