About This Project

Newtown Farmhouse Christopher A. Zeek Landscape Design & Construction is showcasing the new landscaping installment done for Newtown Farmhouse a beautiful that complements the natural environment with the rustic character of the farmhouse. Another great example of our commitment to peace of mind living and creative use of neighborhood space, this was built inside our service areas that range from Ambler to Wyncote. The design includes a carefully selected collection of native plants, which are both sustainable and complement the natural scenic landscape seen from the property. Year-round interest was achieved by choosing a well-suited colourful palette of sun loving perennial flowers, grasses and shrubs with low-maintenance needs. Locally sourced stone for the dry creek bed not only creates an appealing feature but also successfully addresses drainage issues caused by the slope on the property. We really wanted to enjoy the outdoors so we built a custom flagstone patio with a fire pit to entertain and enjoy the stars. The reclaimed wood beams found in the pergola overhead add an element of earthiness that works so well with the farmhouse feel. During the course of the , we encountered challenges such as the uneven ground and existing tree roots that could impact the planting design. Thanks to some careful grading and unique planting techniques employed by our team, this landscape adjusted quite well to its new home. The end result is a stunning functional landscape that charms and creates a place of refuge for the owners. The happy clients can now take their outdoor living space that matches their lifestyle and completes the character of their farmhouse.
