The , known as 'Schaffer Design Installed', is one of many examples of our commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design, and it was completed in Grand Rapids, MI. The Schaffer Design is a beautiful blend of hardscape and softscape that was designed to enhance the property’s natural beauty. We utilized quality materials such as locally sourced natural stone for the pathways providing a seamless elegance to the environment. A multi-tiered wall was built with weather-resistant materials to provide strength and durability to prevent erosion while adding aesthetic appeal to the landscaping. Color was added to the landscape using flower beds with a selection of native plants that offer visually appealing colors year-round and are low in maintenance. One of the challenges we faced was the slope of the property. Our landscape professionals planned an installation procedure with a complete drainage solution to prevent standing water while maximizing the longevity of the landscape. A custom irrigation system ensured all plants received the water they needed, considering each plant has its own watering needs. The finished left the Schaffer family delighted with their outdoor experience. Combining hard and softscape increased the property value and created an inviting space for family and entertaining guest.
