The involved a complete landscape renovation that turned a sloped yard into a beautifully usable and functional outdoor living space. The aesthetic focus of the was the intricately built retaining wall which we constructed using premium natural stone sourced locally. The wall serves an important structural purpose to hold soil in-place, but more importantly creates a beautiful focal point for the courtyard. We designed a set of elegant yet durable stairs to access the area, establishing an excellent flow between the levels of the yard. The crushed stone courtyard was installed using a mix of gravel and decorative stone. It is low-maintenance as well as visually appealing for outdoor gatherings with family and friends. This space is attractive and also serves as a functional space where loved ones can gather. The neutral colors of the crushed stone is also very much complementary to the area's natural landscape and features. Throughout the there were many challenges getting the grades correct where desired drainage occurred, and we completed the grading for drainage quite expertly. Our crews were able to exceed the client’s expectations of the final after overcoming those challenges to ensure the long-lasting outcome of the features. On the whole, we were ecstatic that we were able to exceed the expectations of our clients on this spectacular outdoor space where functionality meets beauty.
