Laguna Niguel - Altera Landscape At Altera Landscape, we are passionate turning an outdoor space into a gorgeous paradise. One of our recent s in Laguna Niguel illustrates our dedication to quality and creativity in landscape design. Located deep within this beautiful community, the involved a complete redesign to a residential garden that combined functional and aesthetic spaces. The goal was to create a welcoming landscape that would improve the aesthetics of the property while offering sustainable solutions for water conservation. We chose drought-resistant plants, native to California, consisting of exciting succulents and ornamental grasses that would thrive on minimal water. We used permeable pavers for the walkways so water would drain quickly into the existing water table, and this helped the pavers to complement the natural features of the space. To create visual interest, we built tiered planting beds for depth, and added boulders as focal points around the garden. We added a water feature to further enhance the aesthetics; the sound of the water flowing over cascades was peaceful, while attracting native wildlife to the community, improving the ecosystem. In the course of the , we were challenged by an uneven terrain and existing infrastructure, but with years of expertise, we were able to create a fantastic and sustainable garden space. Our commitment to quality can be seen in the detail of the hardscape and the selection of plants and shrubs. The final outcome was a beautiful outdoor space for the homeowners to enjoy a wonderful outdoor environment.
