The Arsenault home, located in a beautiful neighborhood, wanted to highlight curb appeal and outdoor living areas. The first thing our team did was the site analysis, understanding and assessing the actual topography and sun exposure in the site. This also helped us come up with a custom landscape that both works with the architecture and thrives in its environment. One of the standout aspects of the is an impressive stone retaining wall made of locally sourced granite that serves a structural function while contributing beauty. A wide variety of native plants and drought tolerant perennials were introduced to promote sustainability and seasonal interest. Permeable pavers served the dual function of draining away excess water to prevent erosion while still looking nice, and these were used to create decorative pathways. The property is set on the top of the mountain so one of our big challenges was the uneven slope surrounding it. Our expert team balanced the site by using skillful earthworks along with the various challenges, and created functional, beautiful outdoor spaces. The end result is a beautiful escape with a quiet, entertainment friendly patio, including a built in fire pit, lush landscaping has also been used to ensure a personal, peaceful environment. Arsenault family pleased with final result, which gives them their outdoor space back year-round. This type of adds value to the property and a sense of community with nature.
