Glass Residence - Michael Pullen Design, LLC The Glass Residence , located in the heart of Norman, Oklahoma, highlights the skills and artistry of Michael Pullen Design, LLC. This remarkable landscape, designed for the homeowners, combines a modern sense of design and an appreciation of natural beauty into an outdoor oasis. The has a thoughtful layout that incorporates native plant species ensuring sustainability and limited maintenance. Variety was also used in plant selection with a mix of perennials, grasses, and trees addressing the architectural lines of the residence and providing color and texture year-round. Additionally, natural stone was used for pathways and retaining walls for aesthetics and durability with the Oklahoma weather. One of the primary challenges for this property was the sloped terrain. Our team took time to grade the land, creating tiered planting beds for plant diversity, and efficaciously using space and drainage. A custom irrigation system was also incorporated into the design to continue to support plant life while using less water. The highlight of the landscape was the outdoor living area which included a large patio, paver stones and a built-in fire pit as a centerpiece for gatherings in the starry night sky. Around the outdoor living area, lush landscapes softened the hard-scapes for relaxation. After completing the Glass Residence , the landscape exceeded the client’s standards and provided an outdoor oasis. Michael Pullen Design, LLC, was proudly able to incorporate all elements of the client’s into the landscaping work while enhancing the beauty of our Oklahoma communities including Blanchard, Cole, Goldsby, Hall Park, Moore, Newcastle, Noble, Oklahoma City, Slaughterville, and Washington.
