Spring Color Low Bowls The ‘Spring Color Low Bowls’ was completed by Sterling Design & Landscape Resources. The elegantly turned a traditional outdoor area into a colorful oasis in Houston, Texas. This outdoor landscaping introduced a series of low bowls, designed with flower annuals and greenery for dazzling color during the spring. Quality durable materials featured prominently throughout the . Custom stone bowls made for a beautiful design element while also providing durability. Our design included a mix of colorful annuals, such as petunias, snapdragons, and marigolds, alongside perennial plants such as lavender and daylilies. This mix provided visual interest and textures along with an incredible scent element to the area. The challenge of varying light exposure on the site meant that we needed to consider a planting design for the low bowls to have the best outcome in each one. Our landscape architects took careful note of the site conditions and helped us arrange the low bowls with maximizing sun exposure in mind while also creating a flow in the garden. The end design provided a colorful heartbeat of life while integrating with the existing landscape. It is an area that draws the eye and invites guests to explore the detail of the day. The client was very happy with the as they expressed joy at how the ideas became colorful blooms bringing joy and energy to their outdoor living space and experience of their home.
