This radiates a contemporary take on landscaping while honoring the natural beauty of the surrounding Houston environment. The began with an extensive site assessment that established the challenges of the existing topography and climate. Our team carefully navigated challenges such as uneven topography and drainage issues with innovative fitted grading and materials. The original plantings were removed and replaced with native plants that will withstand the unpredictable nature of the Houston climate and create fresh natural habitats. This is characterized by a variety of vibrant colored perennials, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs for year-round diversity. The new natural stone pathways provide a new offer to the beauty of a newly landscaped backyard while significantly improving access through the landscaped areas. The design also features a custom seating area built from locally sourced cedar wood in an area within the new plantings and gardens that creates a perfect spot for family gatherings or moments of relaxation. Also included in the is energy-efficient LED lighting to illuminate the key areas of the updated landscape and offer safety during the dark hours of evenings. The end product is a balance of function and beauty that transformed the outdoor space into a landscape and retreat that our client can enjoy year-round.
