This started with a comprehensive analysis of the site itself, considering the site’s unique topography and microclimates. Our team encountered a sloping yard, which we used to our advantage to create tiered gardens that increased visual interest and usability. Because we believe in using only the utmost quality of materials, the retaining walls we constructed out of stone were locally sourced and not only stabilize the landscape but are an aesthetically beautiful aspect of the . In addition to using native plants, the selected palette was rich in biodiversity, including lots of bright perennials and hardy shrubs that will thrive in the region's climate. The placement of these plants promotes color and texture all year round while respecting existing landscape attributes. We also installed a custom irrigation system that will effectively manage water usage but require very little maintenance from the homeowners. The most publicized and sought-after feature of this is the outdoor living area highlighted by a hand-crafted stone patio that connects with the adjacent gardens. The outdoor living space engages friends and family while being anchored by an integrated, built-in fire pit that is perfect for stargazing. We also installed thoughtful soft landscape lighting for evening safety and operability while enhancing the evening beauty of the gardens. Through all the challenges of Cleveland Heights 3, ONeill Landscape Design and Installation kept persistence. Although the soil conditions varied and we encountered weather-related delays, we proceeded with the through thoughtful planning while concerned with delivering on the quality of the build, and ultimately exceeded the client’s expectations.
