About This Project

Harmony Design Group's Before and After Photos We are excited to share our most recent landscaping make-over at Harmony Design Group, called "Before and After Photos," which exemplifies our principles of craftsmanship, creativity, and quality. Locations we serve include the beautiful New Jersey towns of Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Fanwood, Livingston, Madison, Maplewood, Millburn, Morristown, Mountainside, New Providence, Scotch Plains, South Orange, Summit, Westfield, and Montclair, where we transformed a client's dull landscaping into a spectacular outdoor space! This began with a consultation to define the client's vision; one of the main constraints was the property slope and level changes that made the yard unusable as well as unappealing. Our landscaping team leveled the area and designed an active drainage system so water would not accumulate on the property during storms. The included quality packaged and local materials, like natural stone pavers for walkways, reclaimed wood frames for raised garden beds, and premium sod for a plush green lawn. In addition to addressing the terrain and drainage, the concept design incorporated varying colors of perennial flowers and native shrubs to create biodiversity while keeping maintenance low to the homeowner. The unique fire pit and seating area became a focal point of the landscape, and lighting also highlighted this space during evening gatherings. Overall, the end result was stunning. The property went from having unappealing landscaping to an appealing usable outdoor area that blended together beauty and usability. The clients loved their outdoor retreat that added curb appeal to their home and space for family gatherings and friends.
