Our most recent , ‘Driveways', is a perfect example of our focus on quality and craftsmanship to the communities we serve, including Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Fanwood, etc. This began with an intensive consultation to learn the client’s ideas and needs. After assessing the situation, we identified challenges such as the changing elevation of the yard and drainage issues that could cause flooding. Our talented team went to work by implementing a comprehensive grading scheme to allow proper drainage and standing ground. The driveway was designed with quality in mind, using permeable pavers and natural stone, which add durability to the driveway while maintaining a level of sustainability in our landscaping construction. The intricate and eye-catching design features a classic herringbone design that fits the surrounding landscape well, while giving a clean, contemporary look. In addition to functionality, we viewed the opportunity to also bring in lush borders of native plants alongside the driveway, allowing for continued edges from hardscape to softscape. This adds visual diversity while supporting native flora and fauna. The outcome of the was a stunning driveway, which fits the architecture of the home and the outdoor environment perfectly. The clients were ecstatic with the transformation, noting it increased the curb appeal and they were able to utilize their outdoor space effectively.
