Jamestown Residence - Matunuck Design Group Inc. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Jamestown, Rhode Island, the Jamestown Residence from Matunuck Design Group Inc., showcases our dedication to excellence in landscaping. This comprehensive transformed the outside living space into a peaceful retreat and a harmonious complement to New England's natural beauty. The began with an extensive consultation to gauge the clients desire for colorful flower beds, useable outdoor spaces and maintaining existing sustainable practices. The presented the challenges of having an uneven shape and rocky soil which would require inventive grading solutions, drainage to help support the longevity, and health of the new landscape. The selected a collection of wonderful native plants that would thrive and allow for low maintenance. The incorporated a variety of perennials, ornamental grasses and evergreen shrubs to provide year-round opportunities for color and interest. Custom stone pathways originating from a local granite were built to lead to a well-designed patio area complete with a fire pit and seating for gathering and relaxation. In addition, a contemporary irrigation system was installed to ensure proper watering and efficiency while keeping the plant material lush and healthy. Natural stone was utilized to create retaining walls which were successively supportive of elevation while providing an organic look and feel with the coastal site. Overall, the work resulted in an overall landscape that created a welcoming oasis for clients' family and friends beyond all expectations. The Jamestown Residence is a great example of Matunuck Design Group Inc.'s quality craftmanship and sustainable landscaping solution creation and design. Clients were beyond delighted with their newly improved outdoor space.
