- Swimming Pool created by RF Designs RF Designs is excited to present the 'Swimming Pool' , a remarkable construction that changed outdoor life in Ontario. The was based on creating a luxury backyard escape, with health and aesthetics in mind, while blending seamlessly into the landscape. The design features a custom swimming pool with natural stone surrounding the decking that provided both beauty and a non-slip surface. Premium quality travertine tiles were needed around the pool instead of standard landscape pavers to achieve durability, an evergreen look and a natural appearance that accented the greenery. The pool shape was purposely constructed to emulate natural forms to promote comfortability and enjoyment. The site presented challenges from existing slope that required some innovation, along with careful grading to ensure drainage and access. Our experienced team used methods to manage erosion and have the space better serve the landscape. RF Designs also devised an irrigation system to support the vibrant plantings that enclose the pool area. Plantings included native plants, ornamental grasses, and shrubs that offered seasonal color. The final picture is a spectacular escape that exceeded our clients expectations. Strategically located ambient light around the pool and landscape extended hours of enjoyment after the sun went down, and highlights the natural landscape beauty. Attention to detail and pride of workmanship, brings luxury into nature, completing an ideal setting for relaxing and entertaining.
