Ornamental Gates by RF Designs At RF Designs, we think that the entrance of a home should be as welcoming to guests as the interior of the home is to its resident. The "Ornamental Gates" we just completed is a perfect example of our belief. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of Ontario, this aimed at increasing the aesthetic and security of the residence. At the heart of the were ornamental gates, custom designed to meet the clients potentials, created from wrought iron, known for its durability and classic appearance. The gates were designed with a florid center and a geometric pattern that resonates with the client's tastes while paying homage to the surroundings. A rust-resistant finish was applied specifically for the changing weather conditions in Ontario which ensure the gates will be functional for years to come. The site also presented difficulties; to get to the ornamented gates the traverse was on a hill. The easy solution was to have the pathway approach the gates at a nice angle supported by ornamentals and varied green spaces creating color and depth. The pathway design allowed for an inviting approach for guests using the gates as an entry. The outcome is spectacular! The ornamental gates are now our clients' statement piece and incorporate both functionality, and visual appeal. The landscape curated surrounding the gates has eye-catching multi-seasonal color and a backdrop of evergreens to create an inviting space to enter through the gates. Our client was pleased as they reflected on how it transformed their property to become not only a beauty spot but also in some regards enhanced the worth of their home!
