The Assisted Living Project in Homewood, AL, represents a harmonious blend of functionality and elegance, designed to cater to the unique needs of its residents while providing a luxurious living experience. This 461 square foot apartment showcases a Hollywood Glam aesthetic, thoughtfully curated to create an inviting and stylish environment. The studio kitchen is ingeniously separated from the living area by a sleek white desk, which not only serves as a dining table but also doubles as a workspace. A carefully selected desk lamp provides ample reading light for the adjacent love seat, ensuring comfort and convenience. Incorporating the owner's existing furniture and lighting, the design team added two additional comfortable chairs to enhance seating capacity, promoting both social interaction and relaxation. A beautiful wrought iron baker's rack was introduced to provide light, airy shelving, adding both charm and functionality to the space. The ottoman, versatile in its design, serves as a coffee table and can easily be repositioned to accommodate extra guests. To ensure a seamless transition between living areas, the entrance to the bedroom features no doors, allowing for an open flow within the apartment. To maintain a sense of privacy while enhancing the aesthetic, exquisite lined linen curtains adorned with a Greek key motif were hung, softening the entrance and adding a touch of sophistication. The bedroom itself is furnished with a mirrored chest and mirrored nesting tables that reflect light and create an illusion of spaciousness, further elevating the glamour of the design. The outcome of this project not only meets the functional demands of assisted living but also offers a chic and comfortable retreat for its residents. With a focus on high-quality materials and craftsmanship, the Assisted Living Project stands as a testament to the possibility of luxurious living within a supportive environment, ensuring that residents enjoy both style and comfort in their everyday lives.
