Genoa Lakes by Big Fish Landscaping Based in the lovely community of Genoa, 'Genoa Lakes,' a for Big Fish Landscaping, is indicative of our approach to quality, creativity, and an appreciation for the environment. Serving the beautiful areas of Gardnerville, Gardnerville Ranchos, Johnson Lane, Kingsbury, and Minden, we were pleased to have the opportunity to create a beautiful outdoor space out of this large parcel of land. The consisted of a mix of native plants, colorful flower beds, and various hardscapes, including custom stone paths and tranquil water features that are reminiscent of the calmness of the surrounding area. Our professional landscape labored using high-quality, locally sourced materials to ensure durability and sustainability, improving the natural beauty of the land while reducing the environmental footprint. The land itself had uneven terrain that creates a challenge, anyway, our talented landscape design drafted terraced garden beds that added to the aesthetics of the land, while building water retention and soil needs. They integrated an irrigation system that waters the distinct plant life while conserving water, which was perfect for our environmentally inspired clients. The outcome is impressive. Blending beauty and functional design, one can view a tranquil sitting area with custom stone works blended, lush gardens of seasonal growth, and a pond that floats between the gardens as a focal point, while providing a home for the wildlife in the area. The 'Genoa Lakes' is now a tranquil space for the owners and a beautiful showpiece of what Big Fish Landscaping stands for. They clients were overjoyed, informing us how the design not only increased the value of their property, but has grown to become a place to not only entertain family members, but enjoy their own quiet time. The outcome of the Genoa Lakes is a reflection of our passion to create beautiful and sustainable landscapes for clients and the communities we are apart of.
