About This Project

Dix's previous work: Detail. Hite + Partners Located in the center of Longwood, Dix. Past Work was a backyard landscaping by Hite + Partners that actually re-landscaped a home. Pairing function with beauty, the focused on sustainability while enhancing the client's experience in their garden. The plan showed a complex array of native plants, carefully selected to endure the local climate while needing little water. By introducing an incredible palette of hardscaping materials such as natural stone paths and flow into flower beds, we created connectivity and flow. Sturdy and environmentally-friendly materials were chosen for every hardscape element to withstand the test of time and the elements. The property was sloping, thus resorting to some creative designs to make aesthetic tiers but at the same time ensuring that it remains accessible. Our team impeccably constructed locally sourced boulder retaining walls, which not only bring visual interest to the slope but will adequately support the grade. In addition, the included an installation of a custom irrigation system optimized for water-wise efficiency to seed them well for healthy growth. Integrated this system to the landscape so all the plants can get the proper and accurate amount of moisture without wasting please. As the drew to a conclusion, an extraordinary outdoor landscape revealed itself, much to the client's pleasure, also adding value to their home. The combination of hardscape and softscape was harmonious and set the perfect stage for rest and entertainment, and the reminded owners that with a vision and the right team, any tricky landscape can be made into a work of art.
