Serving the communities of Bellaire, Bunker Hill Village, Cypress, and more, we took on this with a vision for improved curb appeal while still being functional. The involves a careful design scheme combining a variety of native plants, including colorful Texas sage and ornamental grasses that work well in our zone. The structure includes visually interesting pathways built from limestone, sourced from a local stone quarry and completed with front entry improvements. The side yard was not to be forgotten- it was transformed into an inviting oasis for our clients to sit and enjoy their fragrant jasmine and colorful lantana to unwind. One of the challenges of the was to manage dangerous existing drainage problems. We settled on an effective drainage solution that not only addressed the water flow, but also improved the overall design of the space. The use of permeable pavers in the pathways was necessary to help manage water retention so the new landscaping could thrive through heavy rain seasons. The end result is an attractive, fun space that performs favored by our terrific clients! We took their dreams of a beautiful, green space including lounge use to the next level by creating an extremely livable and beautifully modifying the outdoor area year-round.
