Our recent , "Full Landscape Rejuvenation", shows our passion for thoughtful and creative landscaping across many communities, especially in Aurora, Beachwood, and the surrounding areas. This significant restoration began with a thorough review of the overgrown landscape which lacked continuity. Our team worked closely with the client to understand their vision and desires, as well as explore any obstacles that the site presented including problematic grades and shady spots. So the team applied a number of elements to make a consistent, beautiful, and functional outdoor environment for the family. We specifically incorporated composites of native plantings that have durability and low maintenance. The design of the contained a rich pallet of perennials, ornamental grasses, and colorful flowering shrubs to create year-round beauty and biodiversity. In addition to the plantings, we installed a custom stone patio, using local bluestone, as a hardscape feature for outdoor recreation. We also built a natural stone fire pit to accompany the outdoor space, and provide a convivial hub around which to gather and entertain. We used terraced garden beds and boulders to help control grade differences which further enhanced access and aesthetics of the . During the , our team had some challenges with poor soils and an existing drainage issue on the site. We amended the native soils with compost to help improve drainage and soil health for our chosen plants, and proposed a French drain system for improved drainage across the entire site. The transformation is simply amazing! The client is delighted with their design and the landscape is now rich in color and texture, and has encouraged wildlife viewing, which creates a retreat for this family. The client reported that we exceeded her expectations and it is her favorite part of her home. At J.
