Shade Gardens by Greenscape Lawn and Garden Service, Inc. Greenscape Lawn and Garden Service, Inc. is excited to unveil our latest , "Shade Gardens," a wonderful transformation of a landscape that will enhance our client’s outdoor living space in the quiet areas of Albion, Avonia, Cranesville, East Springfield, Edinboro, Erie, Fairview, Girard, Lake City, McKean, North Springfield, Platea, and West Springfield. This was designed with the intention of creating a relaxing space that flourished in shaded areas. The honors nature while providing a refreshing retreat for our clients. We picked an abundance of shade-tolerant plants, including beautiful ferns, exquisite hostas, and flowering astilbes, which not only do well in low-light conditions, but also add layers of texture and color to the garden. One of the biggest challenges was addressing the uneven ground and existing tree roots that would affect the health of the plants and entire look of the garden. Our talented team addressing those obstacles with raised beds made from locally sourced, sustainably harvested, cedar woodthis would not only create better soil conditions for our flora, but would also be aesthetically pleasing. To enhance the overall garden experience, we created curving walkways from natural stone that invited people to explore the variety of plants while being accessible. The walkways were edged into the groundcover which would spread, and soften the edges, creating a soft transition between the garden and landscape. The result is a beautiful shade garden that offers a serene retreat where our client can relax and enjoy the curated plant species and exceptional design. Our commitment to craftsmanship has made our client very happy to have an outdoor, art-like experience encapsulating nature and art.
