Greenscape Lawn and Garden Service, Inc. is proud to present the 'Landscape Complete Renovation’ as we assisted a homeowner in a complete renovation of their residential property located in Erie, PA. We offer our gardening services to the surrounding areas of Albion, Avonia, and Edinboro. The home at the center of this had a previous landscape that was neglected and had fallen into disrepair. The first step of the was to conduct an overall site assessment. A site assessment gives us the opportunity to note obstacles including uneven terrain, poor drainage, and outdated plant selections. Our talented landscapers developed a new design that not only beautified the area, but also met customers needs for outdoor space functionality. Utilizing native plants was a priority for our design as it was sustainable. It also created beautiful staggered looks throughout the growing seasons. Key features following the renovation include a stone patio completed with local blue stone to create an inviting area to host family and friends. Along with a custom built fire pit encompassed by decorative boulders and perennial gardens for an inviting area to host around the fire pit. In order to improve natural drainage of the property a rain garden was installed utilizing native wetland plants to retain stormwater and support wildlife. There were multiple challenges that occurred during the due to rocky conditions of the soil and grading that needed to be done. By employing better landscaping techniques and well thought out quality materials we assured every element would last and endure limitations of the environmental conditions. The end product was a full landscape plan that brought function to new space, along with cohesiveness considering hardscape and softscape, as well as flower beds and meandering pathways into the overall design. The homeowner almost instantaneously expressed delight in their renovation process noting curb appeal but also their overall outdoor living and space has been made better by the renovation.
