Lakefront Landscape by Deborah Silver and Co Inc The 'Lakefront Landscape' perfectly represents the work of Deborah Silver and Co Inc. along the tranquil shores of southeastern Michigan. This landscaping took a small lot on a lake and turned it into a magical outdoor playground that shows the beauty of nature and the art of man. The included native and climate appropriate species selected to grow well with existing conditions while providing habitat for wildlife. Ornamental grasses, perennials and shrubs were layered to provide color and texture throughout the seasons. This home blends seamlessly to the landscape with a stone path; made from locally-sourced bluestone, the custom path encourages guests to wander while allowing a flow to and from the property. Grade on the property providing the challenges since the property slops, customized grading to address drainage of water and prevention of erosion was imperative. Silver and her talented team used existing landscaping to imagine how to contour the land into a usable and beautiful space. Adding that beautiful and unique natural stone retaining wall not only makes everything more stable, but it also looks natural and complements the design. We selected plants to provide the feel of a lakefront landscape and the client could not have been happier with the finished product. The area is now home to a peaceful seating area which has a custom-built fire pit for family nights under the stars. You find the ambient lights blending into the landscape in the night, turning the magic of beauty reflecting on the water. In yet another statement of quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Deborah Silver and Co Inc has once again transformed a vision into reality this time with the 'Lakefront Landscape' .
