Haskell, Mike & Sue Landscape Transformation for Pro Care Horticultural Services Pro Care Horticultural Services is delighted to showcase the Haskell, Mike & Sue landscaping , a transformative that showcases our commitment to quality and art in outdoor spaces. Right in the heart of Greater Indianapolis, the came to place as part of a joint effort to transform a couple's backyard into a tranquil garden retreat for relaxation and entertainment. The 's centerpiece was the stone patio, constructed from natural flagstone. This stone was locally sourced to ensure the best blend to the surroundings. The stone is a durable and sophisticated choice that fits nicely with the lush green landscape and has provided a beautiful area for people to gather. To enhance a sense of warmth, we also built a custom stone fire pit and provided ample seating for gatherings in winter nights under the stars. Another challenge in this was the uneven topography of the backyard, which took into account forethought to work with. To solve this, our concrete team took a purposeful approach and levelled and drained the ground for water. This was done to alleviate drainage water pooling and to preserve the landscape features. We also ordered many native plants and shrubs to the site, so they thrive in their natural climate and provide pollinator hotspots of beauty and life to the client's landscape. This is a stunning intersection of both hardscaping and softscaping that our clients absolutely loved. The lush gardens provided seasonal garden colors into the design and helped shake up the limestone in the patio space. The underutilized backyard eventually became a usable outdoor experience for the clients retreat. Both Mike and Sue loved the final product and the process along the way, especially our attention to detail and the caliber of our abilities as designers.
