The Mann Residence Pro Care Horticultural Services is pleased to announce the recent completion of the landscape at The Mann Residence, a truly stunning landscape that exemplifies our commitment to quality and creativity. Located in Carmel, the was designed to complement the surrounding landscape and also provide a functional outdoor space for family gatherings and relaxation. The involved a total redesign of both the front and back yards. We began with a beautiful, new hardscape using high-end natural stone pavers to create a welcoming pathway leading to a custom entryway. The materials used were all sourced as locally as possible to add aesthetic value and protect our work against the weather fluctuations of Indiana. The back yard presented the challenge of a steep slope, which we were able to overcome using smartly designed terracing. The backyard terracing consists of tiered garden beds with a colorful mix of native perennials and ornamental grasses. Plants creatively added color and palette diversity through the seasons while also supporting local biodiversity. The terracing was paired with a lovely water feature as a centerpiece of the design and also a way to create a relaxing environment for outdoor listening. Ensuring proper drainage on the slope certainly presented a challenge for us. However, our team effectively engineered a drainage plan that captures excess water and sends it away from the property to protect the landscape and preserve the natural integrity of the during heavy rain. In the end, the resulted in a surprising landscape that highlights functional beauty, entrancing the Mann family and providing an inviting outdoor setting to enjoy.
