Rustic Hillside Estate The 'Rustic Hillside Estate' is a breathtaking Nebraska hillside transformation by Breaking Ground From Arlington, Bennington, Elkhorn, Fremont, Inglewood, Ithaca, Kennard, Leshara, Mead, Omaha, Valley, Venice, Washington, Waterloo, Yutan and La Vista our team was up to the challenge to transform a steep, overgrown hillside into a beautiful outdoor landscape. The began with a thoughtful analysis of the site and its unique topography and the existing vegetation. Our expert landscapers used a careful balance of native plants and sustainable products to develop a design that seamlessly blends into the natural landscape. The stone we used for the retaining walls and paths were locally quarried, another move to ensure the rustic character of the estate while also giving permanence. One of the highlights of the was building tiered garden beds to enhance accessibility and increase footprint for planting. While the slope presented some challenges, the estate is equipped with a proper drainage system that directs water flow away from the home, keeping it safe from erosion and flood damage. Additionally, meandering through the estate is a winding gravel path of recycled materials directing visitors past perennial gardens and a placid water feature for loose local wildlife. Quality handcrafted wooden benches create inviting places to stop and enjoy the scenery and outdoor lighting beautifully extends the yard into the evening. The end product presents a discreet balance of both landscape and function that will undoubtedly convert the hillside into a beautiful retreat just as the client had envisioned. Today, the homeowners have a cheerful, sustainable landscape that adds value to their home and connects to the naturally beautiful environment around them.
