Folia Horticultural + DesignThe Beauty Bar atThe Fairmont Hotel LandscapingCompletion Folia is thrilled to present the completion of their landscaping the Beauty Bar located inside the Fairmont Hotel, a beautiful addition to this landmark establishment. Located in downtown Seattle, where this is, the intention of the design was to create a calm and welcoming space for people to come to relax and recharge. We skillfully designed the outdoor environment, creating a lush oasis of complementary native planting and seasonal blooms, integrated with high end hardscaping. In the design, they used colorful flower beds arranged in a way that flowers bloom all year long and a careful selection of perennial plants that need little maintenance to bring sustainability and ease of care. And one of the major constraints we had was the lack of area available to plant. So we tackled this by applying vertical gardening and added decorative trellises which we then combined with horizontal gardens that gave us considerable green without sacrificing aesthetics. Similarly, we chose durable and locally sourced materials for the pathways and seating spaces to suit the green objectives of the hotel. Resulting in a stunning landscape that accentuates the Beauty Bar environment while also showcasing the Pacific Northwest's rich natural beauty. Today, guests are welcomed for a relaxing retreat amid aromatic blossoms and calming foliage, creating a memorable experience each time. This confident client and patron feedback is proof that we are on the right track when it comes to quality and its innovative design concept. This showcases the commitment of Folia Horticultural + Design to provide high quality landscaping services across the wonderful neighborhoods of Ballard, Beacon Hill, Bellevue and beyond.
